Acid staining is a method of coloring existing or new concrete. Unlike
paint, acid stains penetrate the surface and become a permanent
part of the concrete, giving it the look and feel of natural stone.
Acid staining produces a durable, dramatic, translucent, mottled
and marble-like effect with subtle variations in color. It is these
very features that when combined with surface imperfections in the
concrete, produce very unique and beautiful finishes that look naturally
aged. Acid staining can be combined with stamping
or texturing tools as well as stencils.
